While in college the founder of Bonneval Foods LLC, started perfecting his recipe in 2001 while he worked at his family’s small country grocery store. During this time he entered the local crackling cooking contest and won. After winning several contest the demand for his cracklings continued to grow. In 2003, after finishing college he continued working at the family grocery store cooking this Cajun treat. In 2010, Bonneval Foods LLC was formed to provide quality products to all the surrounding areas. Today Bonneval Foods LLC is currently under the Louisiana State Meat Inspection Program.
